Round Rock Public Library is planning a Local Author Meet and Greet for Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is listed for the library's first and second floors.

Authors named in the announcement include Wensly Anijs, Amiyo Basu, Shannon Bryant, Shannon L. Mokry, Courtney Parker, Kristin Rice and Varun Thazhathekalathil.

The announcement also names Sudheesh Sudhakaran and Sabarish Sasidharan Nair alongside Thazhathekalathil.

Books will be available for purchase, with 10 percent of sales supporting Friends of the Round Rock Library.

The event offers readers a chance to meet writers directly rather than discovering their books only through a shelf or online listing.

Attendees could bring questions about a writer's subject, creative process or intended audience.

That is a suggestion for making the visit worthwhile, not a promise of formal talks or workshops.

Check the library's latest announcement before attending for any changes to the lineup or arrangements.

This item is an advance notice based on the city's September 23 announcement, rather than a recap of an event already held.

Event details were checked October 12, 2026.
